Jeremy Jones, CIO of Comfort Systems USA
Mr. Jeremy Jones is currently the Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Comfort Systems USA Inc (NYSE: FIX), where he leads all of the company’s technology initiatives. Comfort Systems is the nation’s premier mechanical services provider and subcontractor. He is formerly Vice President of Investment Bank Technology with JPMorgan investment bank (2/2005-2/2013), where he held roles as service delivery analyst, team manager, regional manager, and ultimately as global director of the investment bank business continuity technology program. Mr. Jones is a veteran of enterprise-level problem solving working with the top echelons of fortune 500 firms to resolve major IT issues; especially in relationship to the sensitive data needs of public companies as well as large organizations in the energy and construction sectors.
During his time at Comfort Systems, Mr. Jones has lead a comprehensive consolidation and centralization of the nationwide IT footprint. Mr. Jones is an expert at industrial IoT transformation, cyber-security, enterprise data management, and evolving wildly differentiated IT environments and organizations into a single robust and scalable enterprise workforce.
Mr. Jones is a member of the CIO Executive Council, the Houston Executive Association, and is on the board of several community and industry organizations. He holds an MSc in Technology Commercialization from the McCombs School of Business of the University of Texas at Austin as well as an MBA in Finance from the University of Houston.
